Job Description: Social Media Manager

Position Overview:
Stay Country seeking a creative and strategic Social Media Manager to oversee and manage our social media presence across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for crafting unique, platform-specific content, growing engagement, and ensuring a cohesive brand voice while leveraging the strengths of each channel to maximize reach and impact. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Strategy and Planning:
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy tailored to each platform, including Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok, and emerging channels.
    • Plan, create, and schedule a content calendar that aligns with the company’s marketing goals, product launches, and seasonal campaigns.
  • Content Creation:
    • Produce and curate engaging, fun, and unique content, including text, images, videos, and graphics, optimized for each social media platform.
    • Collaborate with creative director to create visually compelling assets.
    • Stay updated on trends, hashtags, and best practices to ensure content resonates with the target audience.
  • Community Engagement:
    • Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions promptly to foster community engagement and build relationships with followers.
    • Proactively engage with relevant online communities, influencers, and thought leaders to increase visibility and credibility.
  • Analytics and Reporting:
    • Track and analyze performance metrics, including engagement rates, follower growth, click-through rates, and conversions.
    • Generate monthly reports to measure success and identify opportunities for improvement.
    • Use insights to refine strategies and experiment with new content formats or approaches.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or with personal social media.
  • Proficiency in using social media platforms and tools, including scheduling tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer) and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, platform-specific insights).
  • Strong understanding of the unique characteristics of each platform and the ability to create tailored content.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with an eye for detail and design.
  • A passion for storytelling, creativity, and staying ahead of social media trends.
  • Must be located in Nashville, TN area.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in managing social media for brands in [specific industry, e.g., tech, fashion, lifestyle].
  • Familiarity with SEO principles and content marketing strategies.
